Usage
Hexorium Manipulator is a tool used for a number of different tasks within the HEXCraft mod.
Dismantling Energized Hexorium
The manipulator can be used to dismantle different types of Energized Hexorium. These types include: Energized Hexorium, Energized Hexorium Monolith, Energy Pylon with an inserted Energized Hexorium Monolith. Dismantling is important because it lets the player retrieve the whole block, instead of just the crafting ingredients. To dismantle, simple sneak-right click on the block that should be dismantled. It will then drop on the floor.
Linking Energy Pylons
Another use is linking of Energy Pylons. To link two pylons together, first right click on the first one with the Hexorium Manipulator, and then right click on the second one. If there are no obstructions, the length is correct and the colors match, the link will form. You can read more about linking the pylons on the Energy Pylon page.
Linking Personal Teleportation Pads
Provided that the Personal Teleportation Pads are linked to the same teleportation network, they can be linked using the Hexorium Manipulator. To do this, simply right click on the first one, and then right click on the second one.
Linking Energy Node Ports
The manipulator can be used to link Energy Node Ports together. Please refer to the Energy Node page for more information.
Changing Energy Node Port Modes
The Energy Node Ports have different modes that can be switched using the manipulator. You can read more about this on the Energy Node page.
Changing Pressure Plate Modes
The Hexorium Pressure Plate has a variety of different modes. These modes can be switched by right clicking on the plate with the Hexorium Manipulator.
Forming Multiblock Structures
The Hexorium Manipulator is used to form all of the different multiblock structures. These structures currently include Hexorium Tank and Energy Node. Please refer to the structure specific pages for more info.
Rotating machines and Pylon Bases
The manipulator can also be used to rotate the Hexorium machines and Pylon Bases. To rotate a machine, simply right click on it with the Hexorium Manipulator. Personal Teleportation Pads will rotate when sneak-right clicking. Machines will always rotate clockwise.
To rotate a Pylon Base, right click on it with the Hexorium Manipulator. Right clicking will always turn the main side (pylon side for 5-to-1 and cable side for 1-to-5 base) towards the player, and sneak-right clicking will turn it away.
Destroying Hexorium Tank Render Block
Hexorium Tank uses a special invisible rendering block to display the fluid contents. In certain extreme situations, this block might not be correctly removed (like when deleting the Tank Valve using MCEdit]], so the manipulator can also be used to remove this block. To remove it, sneak-right click on the invisible block. The block may be invisible, but it still features a hitbox. If you are still having trouble finding it, it can be made visible in config.
Crafting Ingredient
Hexorium Machine Blocks are used for the creation of all Hexorium machines.
