Energy Node Port HEX is a key component in the construction of an Energy Node. Because of the more complex topic, please consult the pages of the Energy Node about usage of the port and all other ports.

Energy Node Port HEX is a device designed to route HEX energy in and out of an Energy Node. To achieve this, it first has to convert the incoming HEX energy into a more suitable form, using the Hexorium Energy Converter. Everything after that is handled purely by the Energy Node Core, including all the logic and link management. Unlike other ports, the HEX port is also able to work in Interface and Tunnel modes. In Interface mode, it doesn't perform any energy conversion, just signal routing, while in Tunnel mode it routes everything including energy, making that the most complex mode.
