Usage
Pylon Base is used as a bridge between Hexorium Cables and Energy Pylons allowing for better connectivity within HEX Energy Network. The bases are divided in two types: 5-to-1 Pylon Base and 1-to-5 Pylon Base. The first has 5 cable sockets and 1 pylon socket, useful when multiple cables need to be connected with only one Energy Pylon. The second has 5 pylon sockets and 1 cable socket, useful when multiple pylons need to be used with a single cable. The bases work similar to Hexorium Cable (Rainbow), in a sense that any cable can be plugged into them (provided they are on the correct face), and they can even be connected with each other. When connecting an Energy Pylon, it is important to place it on the pylon socket, otherwise energy will not be transferred. Please refer to the screenshots below for explanation of different sockets. The color of the Energized Hexorium Monolith inserted into the pylon doesn't matter. Also, the base can be rotated using the Hexorium Manipulator. Similar to the cables, Pylon Bases have no energy loss and their bandwidth is infinite.

Pylon Base is a device used to convert the HEX energy found in Hexorium Cables to a differently modulated one which Energy Pylons can accept. This energy can only travel one block distance, so an Energy Pylon needs to be connected directly with the base. To convert the energy, bases use a Hexorium Energy Converter which intelligently re-modulates the energy signal as required. The conversion can work in both ways and is completely lossless.
