Important Note
Energized Hexorium Monoliths are extremely easy to break when placed in the world. Their hardness is identical to that of glass, and when broken they will simply drop the crystals used to make the original Energized Hexorium, omitting the Redstone. An easy way to dismantle Energized Hexorium Monoliths and get the original blocks back is using the Hexorium Manipulator. Silk touch does not work.
Obtaining
Matrix Reconstructor Recipes
To create the monoliths, Energized Hexorium has to be inserted into a Matrix Reconstructor. The resulting monolith will be of same color as the original Energized Hexorium.

Usage
Energy Pylons
The primary use of Energized Hexorium Monoliths is with Energy Pylons. Monoliths are inserted by right clicking on an empty pylon. Only pylons with same monolith colors (or rainbow) can be linked with each other. Monoliths can be pulled out with a Hexorium Manipulator. You can read more about the detailed use of Energy Pylons on their page.
Decoration
The monoliths can also be used as decoration. Similar to other decorative blocks, they have 18 different colors, one being rainbow. They all have a relatively strong glow-in dark effect, and can be placed on walls, ceiling, etc. Do note that the monolith will break if the block it is placed on is destroyed.

Lore
Energized Hexorium Monolith is an artificial modification of Energized Hexorium. It is created using the Matrix Reconstructor. The reconstructor takes the original chaotic matrix of an Energized Hexorium and manually rearranges it into a solid crystal form. However, because the monoliths are essentially still Energized Hexorium, they are still a very brittle material and easy to break.
